being a girl

Sometimes when I look through my blog reader and tumblr I am just so happy to be a girl. I don't look anything like these girls but I like how girls who dress super feminine are just as cool as girls who dress really tomboyish. There was a text post on tumblr I saw a bit ago and it goes like this: "I love how some girls are soft and delicate and wear floral dresses and how some are fuckin hardcore and have short hair and are rad as hell and how others are a mix of the two. Girls are so great"

And I think that's nice because sometimes I get caught up in comparing myself. Like if I'm wearing my big Adidas shirt and I see a girl looking real cute in a skin-tight shirt and jeans and slick coat I'm like oooh I should dress like that. But then if I'm wearing skin-tight stuff then I see a girl in a big t-shirt and she looks great in that I-don't-really-care-I-am-just-awesome way and I'm like ooh maybe that's how I should dress! But it's really whatever. Dress how you want, you're a girl and you're cool.

I have a lot of photos from Hong Kong and Thailand but I don't know when I'm going to get around to them. All those memories are really fresh and I'm v sad about not being in HK. May be dramatic about this and wait a bit to upload more. In the meantime, I have many clothes to sort through, loads of things to journal-write about, music to listen to and people (as in family honestly) to hang out with. Oh and the gym and eating healthy again and yeah! I got an iPhone tho, so will probably do real nice selfie outfit posts you know. Get ready, I'm back in LA on the 11th (probably. Must book ticket) and I'm pretty sure B has a nice full-length set up in our living room.

When someone goes back home always comes the sadness but try to think on your next step, it'll be much easier ;)
